Our Missions Endeavors

The Lord Jesus commanded His disciples to “make disciples of all nations” (Matt. 28:19). Our desire at Firm Foundation is to be obedient to that Great Commission, both here in our own community and abroad.

The Lord has graced us by allowing us to partner with Pastor Suresh Purra, who is faithfully laboring for the Gospel in his native Hyderabad, India. Besides financially helping to support Pastor Suresh and the church in Hyderabad, we have been able to come alongside the Lord’s people there in several different ways: yearly visits to minister to and mutually edify one another; regular financial contributions; special giving efforts toward temporal needs and church facilities; and by helping to raise up and support biblically-qualified leaders in other churches in Suresh’s network.

Pastor Suresh and his wife, Pratibha, have two daughters, Susan and Suhan.

One of the local Gospel-centered endeavors we support is Community Pregnancy Center. From CPC’s mission statement: “[We are] a Christian, pro-life ministry that exists for the purpose of presenting the love and Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed [and] we are staffed by Christian employees and volunteers…… Our vision is a culture where lives are transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and all people acknowledge that life begins at conception and choose life for the unborn.” To find out more about CPC and how you can get involved, visit www.cpcprescott.org.

The Navajo Nation in Klagetoh, northern Arizona has been a missionary effort of our founding members for many years before Firm Foundation’s founding in 2017. Since then, we have continued to invest in the efforts there through regular financial support and special annual giving efforts. Throughout the year, teams from FFBC make multiple trips to Klagetoh to bring supplies, to perform facility maintenance and construction, and most of all, to build and foster Gospel-centered relationships with the Lord’s people there. Ultimately, our greatest prayer and desire is that the Lord would raise up biblically-qualified local church leadership from among the Navajo in Klagetoh, and that we would be able to play a part in that development.

Another local Gospel-centered endeavor we are proud to support is Yavapai Territorial Gospel Rescue Mission. In their own words, the YTGRM “offers transitional housing to women and children in their effort to regain balance and move forward in life,” with the ultimate goal of “changing lives in Yavapai County through the redemptive power of our Lord Jesus Christ.” To learn more about YTGRM and to find out how you can support their mission, visit www.ytgrm.com.
