A Good Friday Indeed.
The Friday before Easter is traditionally called "Good Friday," yet the event that marks the day as special is the gruesome, horrific execution of Jesus of Nazareth on the Roman cross. How could such a morbid event possibly be the occasion for a day that is called "good"?
