The Constant Threat of Division Over Differences

The 1st-century Roman Christians to whom Paul writes came from varying cultural backgrounds. As a result, early churches were often comprised of large groups of Jewish and Gentile believers with very different feelings and convictions about how to live the Christian life. The situation is not so different for us today. So how do we distinguish between those who are in sin versus those who differ from us in legitimate areas of faith and practice? More importantly, how are we to view and treat those with whom we differ? In our first message on the so-called issue of "Christian liberty," we look at God's answers to those questions.
