He Is Risen Indeed!

On the night he was betrayed, Jesus told his disciples that in a short time they would not see him, but that shortly after that they would see him again. It was certainly a cryptic statement—one that his small, confused, ragtag team of followers didn’t understand. Included with that, however, was a promise: seeing him again would fill them with joy. That promise was not only made to them, but also to all of us who have put our trust in him as they did.
