Series: Christian Unity and Division in the Church
How Do We Maintain Unity When We Disagree?
In Romans 14, Paul identifies two kinds of believers whom he calls the "weak" and the "strong." Their differences were not merely in matters of preference, but in areas of conscience and even conviction. Yet, his command to them—and to us—is that Christians must not allow such differences to become sources of conflict or division. Rather, we must maintain unity by loving one another, setting self aside, and putting our brothers and sisters in Christ before ourselves.
