The Apostle Paul calls his readers to “put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life” (Eph. 4:22), and then “to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness” (Eph. 4:24). In the passage that follows, the Apostle Paul details four ways in which believers are to put off the old self and put on the new. In doing so the believer lives in such a way to be set apart from the world.
